Celebrating creativity & community in a heritage woolstore

The Younghusband site is a collection of buildings centred on a Kensington wool store built in 1906. Younghusband is currently in the midst of a rejuvenation project which will see the historic wool store being redesigned into a sustainable commercial village with a beautiful mixture of creative spaces, food and beverage offering and commercial offices.

Property owners Impact Investment Group engaged Small Matters to activate the precinct and celebrate the future of the project. Small Matters produced a festive night market inviting the community in to the beautiful 100-year-old Younghusband Woolstore where we showcased local artists, crafts people and makers. We partnered with the very lovely people and market experts at Rose Street Artits’ Markets to deliver the event.
